Our league thrives due to the dedication of our volunteers. Whether you are an experienced football enthusiast or someone passionate about supporting youth sports, we have a role for you. From coaching to officiating, your involvement can significantly impact the lives of our young athletes and help shape the future of the league.


Here are four meaningful ways you can get involved with the Dolphins Flag Football League and help our athletes succeed both on and off the field.

1. HEAD COACH
Becoming a Head Coach is one of the most rewarding ways to engage with the league. You’ll lead a team of young athletes, helping them develop their football skills, learn the values of teamwork, and most importantly, have fun. No prior coaching experience is required—just a commitment to guiding and inspiring the next generation of players.

Responsibilities:
• Lead weekly practices and manage game-day decisions.
• Teach basic football fundamentals in a fun, engaging way.
• Ensure the safety and enjoyment of all players.
• Communicate with players, parents, and league officials.

2. ASSISTANT COACH
As an Assistant Coach, you’ll be an essential part of the coaching staff, working closely with the Head Coach to create a positive environment for the team. If you love football and want to share your passion without the full responsibility of leading a team, this is a great opportunity to support our players and contribute to their development.

Responsibilities:
• Assist with practices and game strategies.
• Provide individual player feedback and support.
• Help manage substitutions, game plans, and team coordination.
• Step in for the Head Coach when needed.

3. TEAM MANAGER
Are you organized and good at communication? Team Managers are the backbone of every team, handling logistics and ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. You’ll assist coaches by coordinating team activities, managing schedules, and keeping parents and players informed throughout the season.

Responsibilities:
• Organize and communicate practice and game schedules.
• Manage team rosters and player availability.
• Coordinate snack schedules, team events, and game day logistics.
• Serve as the point of contact for parents.

4. REFEREE (Volunteer or Paid)
Do you have a good understanding of football rules and a passion for fair play? Volunteer as a Referee and help officiate our flag football games! You’ll ensure games are safe, fun, and played within the rules, contributing to a positive game-day experience for all players and fans. 

Responsibilities:
• Officiate games with integrity and professionalism.
• Enforce NFL Flag Football rules and manage game flow.
• Ensure player safety and sportsmanship.
• Collaborate with coaches and league officials to resolve disputes.
