Celebrations, Registration, and Exciting Opportunities

Dear Dolphins Flag Football Families,

As our six-week season comes to a close, we want to extend heartfelt congratulations to all our championship winners and every team that played their hearts out. Your effort, dedication, and sportsmanship made this season truly remarkable. A special thanks goes out to our incredible volunteers, head coaches, assistant coaches, and team managers. Your hard work and commitment to our communities are the backbone of our league, and we couldn’t do it without you!

Looking ahead, we’re excited to announce that registration for the Midwinter Season has been open! Don’t miss the chance to be part of the next chapter of Dolphins Flag Football. The registration deadline is December 27, so secure your spot today and join us for another fantastic season of fun and competition.

Additionally, we’re thrilled to partner with the Miami Dolphins to attend their  Junior Dolphins Clinics, which are just around the corner. These exclusive clinics will be hosted on the actual game field at Hard Rock Stadium, providing a one-of-a-kind experience for young athletes. Registration for the clinics closes this Friday (11/22/24), so be sure to sign up now to take advantage of this incredible opportunity. 1. Names on Jerseys and Apparel
We will be sending out a special offer on December 13th for all customizable NFL Flag apparel, new Dolphins swag, and Junior Dolphins gear. So be on the Look Out!

2. Signing Up with Friends
We understand that playing alongside friends is important to many players and parents. Our current rules and divisions allow for request of 1 to 2 friends. The current rules allow us to make sure that all teams are evenly matched up while playing with friends. This system will remain in place for the Mid Winter Season.

We do believe in allowing kids and coaches who are more advance to make their own teams in a separate division for more competitive games. We will be making this upgrade in the Spring Season. 

3. Coach Pairing Requests
We want each player to have the best experience, and we know that being with a preferred coach can make a difference. While we can’t guarantee every request, we’re looking at ways to increase the chances of honoring these preferences where possible.

4. Volunteers

To all our dedicated Dolphins Flag Football League volunteers:

Thank you for stepping up to support our league and our youth athletes! As part of the volunteer process, please be on the lookout for an email from CHECKR, the company handling our background screenings. These screenings are mandatory for all coaches to participate in the league and work with our players during the six-week Midwinter Season.

We understand there have been some technical issues on their end that may cause delays in the process. While we appreciate your patience, we kindly ask that you remain diligent in completing the required steps as soon as possible once you receive their email or further instructions from us.
