Three Seasons. Three Opportunities to Join the Fun!

Our Dolphins Flag Football seasons give players multiple opportunities throughout the year to get on the field, build skills, and have fun!

Fall Season — September–November
Registration Closed - Season Now In Session

Mid-Winter Season — January–March
Registration Open October 1 - November 22

Spring Season — April - May
Registration Open January 4 - March 1

Summer — Off Season

Registration is open October 1 – November 22, 2026. Late registration begins November 23 and is available for a limited time based on availability. Divisions may close early once capacity is reached.
After registration closes, team formation occurs.
How to find and view your roster on website:
- Go to sportsthread.com on a web browser.
- Login to your parent account using the email associated with your athlete’s registration.
- Click the account menu and choose "My Athletes".
- Click on your athlete’s profile, then “Athletics”.
- Click the team and it will bring you to the roster on the website.
The season schedule is created approximately 1–2 weeks before the season begins.
The final week (Game 6/Playoffs & Championships) will be posted by Tuesday following Game 5. All teams will play during the final week, regardless of playoff eligibility.
Once schedules are posted, team roster information will also be available in the Sports Thread app.

Once rosters are finalized, the NFL FLAG FAN SHOP offers any additional team gear.
Families can order official NFL FLAG gear, which will be shipped directly to their homes (excluding jerseys).

Zoom Meetings occur the week before Meet and Greet.

Season Kickoff
Coaches meet their teams and distribute jerseys. The first practice takes place.
- Touchdown for Tots: Session 1
- Recreational & Competitive: First Practice — No Games
For Recreational & Competitive divisions, teams will practice for one hour before their scheduled game each week. The practice and game take place on the same day at the scheduled time for 6 weeks.
- Practice: 1 hour before game
- Game: Follows practice
- Touchdown for Tots: One-hour session at the scheduled time — no games

His family received tickets, recognition during halftime, and a commemorative football for his efforts.

NFL FLAG’s no-contact rule

and team-oriented environment make it easy for kids to come together, learn football fundamentals, and most importantly, have fun!

Plus, it’s convenient: teams meet only once a week on Sundays for 2 hours. Teams are open to boys and girls, ages 4-14.

Ages 4–5

Introductory Program

Touchdown for Tots

Touchdown for Tots is an engaging introductory flag football program for boys and girls, ages 4 to 5. This 6-week program takes place on Sunday mornings and focuses on teaching young athletes the basics.

📅 6 Weeks ☀️ Sundays 👦👧 Ages 4–5

Touchdown for Tots is specifically designed for our youngest athletes — a gentle introduction to organized sport that builds confidence, coordination, and a love for the game of football.

Participants will learn:

Basic rules of flag football
How to catch, throw, and run routes
Teamwork, sportsmanship, and listening skills
The fun of organized play in a safe, coach-supervised setting

            Program Details
            Every tot receives a NFL FLAG t-shirt and flag belt. All coaches complete
            yearly health & safety training and background checks.
          

Ages 4–14

Recreational Division

Recreational League

The Dolphins Flag Football Recreational league welcomes boys and girls, ages 4–14. Each season includes 7 practices and 6 games, all held on Sundays.

Our Recreational Division is the heart of the Dolphins Flag Football League. Open to all skill levels, this division prioritizes fun, development, and community over competition.

What to expect each season:

7 structured practice sessions led by trained coaches
6 regular-season games played on Sundays
NFL-branded jerseys & flag belt provided
Locations in Boca Raton, Hollywood, Palm City/Stuart, and Wellington/West Palm Beach
Background-checked, certified coaching staff

            No prior football experience required — we teach everything from the ground up.

Competitive Division

Competitive League

The Dolphins Flag Football Competitive League welcomes boys and girls ages 8–14 who wish to develop their skills and compete at a higher level. The league features non-contact, co-ed, 5v5 games on Sundays.

The Competitive Division is designed for athletes who want a higher-intensity experience with 7 practices and 6 competitive games scheduled on Sundays.

Our Unified Division offers a distinctive opportunity to unite athletes with and without intellectual disabilities on the same team, promoting inclusion, teamwork, and mutual respect.

Inspired by the Special Olympics Unified Sports model, this program pairs athletes with and without intellectual disabilities on the same team to compete, practice, and grow together.

The program focuses on:

Developing confidence, communication, and leadership
A safe and fully supportive coaching environment
